Directions for Use
Pearl
additives may be mixed with powder coat or wet paint products. They are most commonly used to tint clear
coats. However, you may get creative and
let your mind flow by mixing additives with different base colors to create a
different range of color. Keep in mind
if you tint a clear coat with a pearl, the tinted clear will have a different
effect shot over different base colors, i.e. white with a tinted clear and
black with a tinted clear will give two different results.
There is no
limit as to how much or how little to mix.
It is a personal preference as to how much additive you prefer in your
mix.
It is
important to do a test panel of your mix before applying to be sure you have
the right effect you are looking for.
Remember – you can always add more but you can never take out.
Pearls can be
baked up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Candy Pearls can
